Cory & Courtney's Wedding Sneak Peek:

Sometimes I stare at this little blinking cursor on a blank document and I just don't know what to say. Not writers block, not because I have a lack of words or thoughts or feelings, but because I am overwhelmed and don't know where to start. Cory and Courtney, what can I say? We had so much fun on your wedding day! The two of you are a photographers dream. We loved the respect you gave to us and the priority that your pictures took. At the end of the day when all is said and done all that lasts forever is your love, memories and your photos. You both really seemed to appreciate that and you gave us your all! Thank you for that. This is the reason you have so many amazing pictures to choose from. So, let's get to the main event shall we, the reason you're all here at this little sliver of the blogosphere, if you all haven't skipped ahead already! ;-)

First, a big thank you to Mrs. Walters for opening up her classroom. That's where we found a bit of fishing line to hang the dress with.

Nice one Cory. Glad we caught this moment! ;-)

It's a beautiful thing when people in love can find a moment to be competely alone in a sea of people.

 Let the fun begin!

These groomsmen were so fun and up for any suggestions. We love the playfulness of these shots!

The shot below is a favorite. What must our little beachgoer have thought when she happened upon a group of beautiful girls dressed in goregeous gowns? Every little girl dreams of her wedding and I imagine this sight will be something she remembers for a very long time.

The guys came up with an idea for a very cool shot. It's time to get in the Lake, with our Bride, in that dress, we were not worried at all. Ok, maybe just a tiny bit.

We left the party at the beach in order to get to Lincoln Hills before our Bride and Groom. While they carried on enjoying themselves we commandeered 3 golf carts to meet them at the entrance for a few more shots before the reception.

Can we take a minute to say a huge thank-you to Annelise? She spent the entire day laden down with bags, camera gear, umbrellas, shoes, water bottles and lord only knows what else. We lovingly referred to her as our little pack mule, but maybe Sherpa would be a more honorific title. Weddings can be an exhausting experience, by the end of it you're pretty drained. Your imagination is sapped and your brain can't stop reeling with lighting decisions, f-stops, batteries running dead, and group poses. So to have someone who just knows where all your stuff is at is a huge relief. It helps that her Type A brain is on the job, because Christy and I are not Type A, I don't even think or Type is in the alphabet sometimes. But the 3 of us work seamlessly together. Thank Lisey!

Parting shot.

Thank you. We can't say it enough. You were, as my English husband would say, "An absolute bloody delight!"
